Just wanna share

How are you doing? It's been awhile.
Hum, actually at first i wanna write this in Bahasa, but when i start to type, it's English words again.
Just for you to know, I know I'm not fluent in English. I often make grammar errors. LOL
Seriously, i don't even took an English course at all. But it doesn't stop me to practice my English.
That's why the word "practice" is exist.
To do what you can't do or not good at, but you just don't stop to be better each and everyday. :)

Just wanna share a little, I have some plans to do this year. ( Bet we all do)
Of course it's a positive things to do.
Starting with change my bad habits, learn to be more discipline ( in pray, eat, love?! It's sound like a movie title now. haha), learn to be more sincere in everything i do, learn to do what's rights instead of what's exciting (but not rights). Not to be a saint or an angel, well i'm a human being.
But i guess, somehow an "angel" doesn't need to have wings. Maybe just need a sincere heart. Perhaps!

Anyway, i have this "side work" as a travel or tour organizer named "De Voyage" here in Jakarta, Indonesia. It's accidentally happen. Just like that.
And thank God, it's been 8 months now, me and my partner, Nelce, we're trying to manage our "side work" wisely during my routines as an employer. Looking or even we would like to create our opportunity to "spread our wings", try to be a little bit serious with it but still have some fun. That's the whole point actually. We're having fun.

Well, i will share the progress later because right now it's still blurry.
But, i believe when we know our focus and do what it takes to get our picture clearly, we'll get the clear result at the end. Just never ever give up.

To be continue.. ;)

What Faith Can Do?

Lately, when i got less job to do in the office, i love to do browsing, reading and watching youtube.
How lucky i am, huh?! Indeed.
Nooo, don't be jealous to me. :D

By today, i just discover the link of two beautiful Korean lady named Jayesslee.
Yes, i suggest you guys starting youtube them, now! haha
In my humble opinion, they are so gifted. Beautiful.

Well, there's one song by Kutless ( covered by Jayesslee) that encourage me today.
We can always find one or two thing to encourage us, whatever it is, we can randomly pick one thing at least to made our cloudy days lovely.

For all of us, hear this: "You are stronger, stronger than you know."

Herewith i copy the lyrics of the song for all of us that have questioning "What faith can do?"

Everybody falls sometimes
Gotta find the strength to rise
From the ashes and make a new beginning
Anyone can feel the ache
You think it’s more than you can take
But you're stronger, stronger than you know
Don’t you give up now
The sun will soon be shining
You gotta face the clouds
To find the silver lining

I’ve seen dreams that move the mountains
Hope that doesn’t ever end
Even when the sky is falling
I’ve seen miracles just happen
Silent prayers get answered
Broken hearts become brand new
That’s what faith can do

It doesn’t matter what you’ve heard
Impossible is not a word
It’s just a reason for someone not to try
Everybody’s scared to death
When they decide to take that step
Out on the water
It’ll be alright
Life is so much more
Than what your eyes are seeing
You will find your way
If you keep believing

I’ve seen dreams that move the mountains
Hope that doesn’t ever end
Even when the sky is falling
I’ve seen miracles just happen
Silent prayers get answered
Broken hearts become brand new
That’s what faith can do

Overcome the odds
You don't have a chance
(That’s what faith can do)
When the world says you can’t
It’ll tell you that you can!

I’ve seen dreams that move the mountains
Hope that doesn’t ever end
Even when the sky is falling
And I’ve seen miracles just happen
Silent prayers get answered
Broken hearts become brand new
That’s what faith can do
That's what faith can do!
Even if you fall sometimes
You will have the strength to rise

She is.. The Single Woman

Oh well, accidentally stuck in this blog http://thesinglewoman.com/
Please allow me to share this beautiful writing with all the single woman in the world.
Yes! She is me. She is you.
She is...

She might be the bravest woman I know.
She walks the unaccompanied path. She has her own back. She asks for no favors. Not an ounce of independence does she lack.
She has moments where she feels as though no one sees her. She feels them LOOK at her, but do they really SEE her? She gets catcalls when she walks down the street…yet she goes to bed alone.
She’s not afraid to change her mind…but petrified to change a tire. She makes her own decisions…but can’t make toast without burning it. Her idea of a three course meal is a Lean Cuisine. There are shoes in her cupboard where flour and sugar are supposed to be.
She’s sassy and feisty on the streets…but some nights her tears fall on empty sheets.
She has moments where she KNOWS she’s sexy…and moments where she doubts everything about herself.

She screws up…a lot. She stumbles and she falls. She gets it wrong as often as she gets it right. But she never gives up the fight.
She has bad hair days. She’ll buy a new dress at Target and pray it passes for something a little fancier. Some months she struggles to make her rent and her car payment in the same month. Because she bought too many shoes? Sometimes. But the only pair of designer shoes she has in her collection are a pair of Christian LaCroix that she got half off at a sidewalk sale.
Sometimes her friends let her down. They don’t always say the right things. And the elusive “One That Got Away”? She still can’t cut the strings.

She has moments of panic where she wonders if her Prince Charming got lost somewhere, or decided to settle instead for another less complicated, less stubborn, less independent princess. Sometimes she don’t know where she’s going until she gets there.
She hasn’t got it all figured out...far from it, in fact.
But she loves God and she loves to dance…and she’s her own “Better Half.”

The bravest woman I know?
She is the reason I do what I do.
She is The Single Woman.
She’s me…and she’s you.

Elastigirl

I just finished read a book titled " A Box of Chocolates" written by Mrs. Hanna Carol. Actually this book is about thoughts of parenting. Well, at first I bought it, actually I didn't paid attention about its content. I just love the cover and I'm so sure that the book is worth to read (definitely). So, about 2 weeks ago I bought it after church @ JPCC. It's written in English (well, hum, I'm not an expert in English, but I'm willing to learn). :)

So, I want to share one chapter of the book, it's about "Elastimom".
Well, since I'm not a mom (yet), so I consider it as an "Elastigirl".
As an example, She used Elastigirl, the wife of a super hero (Mr. Incredible).

The famous quote is:
"We're superheroes. What could happen?" ( Taken from Elastigirl fan site)

Herewith I quote some thoughts of its chapter which I believe can be a lesson learned and applied in everyone's life (mine as well) :

" Every day we face situations or even pressure that requires us to respond properly and wisely. We are all required to be more 'elastic' or in other words, to respond correctly to all kinds of pressure that comes into our lives. The more elastic we are, the greater our strength will be, and we will not easily crack or break. As we face greater stress level (pressure) that comes, we are required to increase our capacity to cope.
Many people think that in order to withstand the pressures of life, we need to be though, hard and persistent ( I used to be one of them, but I decided to change, in process). However, it is better that whenever the pressure comes, we respond by stretching our capacity with a determination to not give up."

Good news for us, we do not need to harden our hearts and be though in dealing with personal problems and the pressure in our lives. We can respond to pressure just by "stretching".

" I'm (Elasti) girl, what could happen?"

Cheers,
